    Hey all,
i have a toshiba satellite 1110 and a problem has occured today. It will not run off battery. this is a new battery and works on my other 1110. the battery is seen and charged thru windows and also has the model number and info for the battery thru control panel. any ideas why it is not switching to battery once unplugged?
    thanks matt

Since you have two 1110's, can you see if the battery from the other one works on this satellite?

sorry should have said that, no it doesnt. just dont understand what would have caused it to stop running from battery? both good batteries work on the other one but not on this one. and i since the laptop is seeing it and charging it i am stumped.

I'm thinking perhaps some of the connectors on the affected notebook needs cleaning. It would be a good idea to get in touch with your reseller's tech support. Perhaps they will have some good ideas for you.
