I did recently got a new Toshiba netbook and I was wondering that does Toshiba netbooks come with a feature called batter care function like Sony notebooks have? I basicly want to set it so it will like only charge upto 50% or 80% so it will save the battery life. On my Sony notebook I can do this.
I know that having the netbook charge only 50% or 80% will make the battery last longer for many years. I saw that having it charge to 100% will lose it's charge faster. Well it goes for any batteries.

unfortunately i dont think that Toshiba laptops have that feature, at least none that i am aware of, maybe its possible to get some 3rd party software to help you out with that, because the only thing i know that Toshiba has is a health monitor, but thats about it

So basicly all Toshiba notebooks or netbooks charge there battery to 100% and it can't be adjusted. I don't know any software that would do the same type of thing as the battery care function on Sony notebooks.
