    Hi
    I need to replace the battery for my laptop.
    I noticed in Amazon some batteries with prices between $16 and $30

    Are those any good? The battery for my laptop (part #PA3399U-2BRS) has a price of $99 direct from Toshiba.

    I find the price difference kind of large and given that there was a history of exploding batteries for this model I wonder if those are a good deal or not.

    What have your experience been with such batteries? Any good brand?

    Usually the Toshiba battery is preferred [OEM and better quality/life span], but seeing as the price difference is great, it probably wouldn't hurt to try the generic aftermarket parts.
