    Hello all,

I'm close to purchasing a Toshiba Satellite M300-04V and would like other user's opinions about battery life with this model. It has the Intel t5750 processor and comes with a 3700ma/hour battery. I'm wondering how long the battery might last under a very light workload, i.e. word processing. What is your experience?

Another unit I'm considering is the Gateway 6836 and I've read reviews praising its 4800ma/hour battery capacity and its subsequent lengthy battery life. I like the Toshiba more and would prefer to get it if its battery is at least decent.

    Thanks,

    Lowell

    3700ma/h and a t5750 would give you about 1 hour and 20 - 40 mins battery life
i got a 4800ma/h on mine with a better processor and it gives 2 hours with miniumum brightness and wifi on, its a A200 though
