Someting just seems...wrong. The price seems a bit lower than it should be for a 17" laptop widescreen with 2GB.

BestBuy has these for $1049, which is pretty darn good, as far as I can tell. What am I missing? The only thing that seems less than optimal is that it has onboard graphics, but that is okay as I'm not a gamer.
I saw reviews of somewhat similar P105 laptops and they seemed generally positive. So what's wrong with this suckah?
-
Nothing wrong. The P105 is being discontinued, to be replaced with the P205 (which seems to primarily be more of a cosmetic upgrade for the time being). So this is on sale for $1049 compared to $1199 (which is a decent price, but not that unusual for a notebook with only a T2250 Core Duo and intel integrated graphics).
-
are there any other 17", 2GB Intel dual core CPU notebooks to be had for this price?
-
Sometimes I've seen the HP dv9220us on sale for not too far off from that price.
And actually at CompUSA right now, you can get the HP dv9210us (pretty much the same except an AMD instead of a Core Duo, and a 120GB HD instead of 160GB HD) for $1199. -
yeah, I saw the dv9210us, but the extra 40GB on the drive doesnt' justify the $150 to me. Thanks though (CompUSA is going out of business here, they don't have much of anything left)
