    Hello
I just bought the A215-S7422 last night and I'm finding the touch pad isn't very sensitive. The reason I prefer a laptop is I've always found that using a touch pad is ergonomically better than a PC with a mouse.

On this laptop I have to tap so hard that it isn't any better than a mouse.
Can this be improved with a driver update? The left and right pad buttons are very tight and almost difficult to press. I wonder if they may loosen up over time.

I suppose I should have actually tried to use the thing before buying it.
I've had lots of carpal tunnel problems is why this is an issue.

    thanks - Steve

Go in Control Panel --> Mouse to adjust Synaptic touchpad sensitivity.

thanks I just found this. Now if I could make it engage on a single click instead of two taps. I would have thought it to be in the same area.

    Still learning the Vista roadmap.
