Well after about a month of searching, I have narrowed it down to Toshiba or Sony.

To those that own the A105, is the battery life really that bad? I want my laptop to be portable, and it seems small enough, but I want around 3 hours. Is that number reachable? All the tech stores have great deals on this laptop so that is a bonus.

Also, I have been recently checking out the Tecra A6 and it sounds like a great machine and will be more portable. Do you think I would see better battery life from the A6 than the A105? Also, does anyone have any info on the Tecra A7?

Thanks in advance, I want my search to end.

You're going to see the best battery life from the Tecra A6 - its only a 14" screen though. In addition, the A6/A7 will have much better build quality than the A105 will have as they're business notebooks. IMO, the A105 is pretty much junk when it comes to build quality - a big dissapointment as I thought Toshiba would have corrected this after some truly bad models with bad build quality to go along.
