    Hi , I Am Going For Cpu Upgrade . For My Toshiba Satelite A100 .
    1) How To Knew What Bios Version I Got ?
    2) Also How To Know Whether That Version Does Support T7600 Cpu Or Not ?
    3) How To Download Higher Bios Version ?

    1) The BIOS version should be displayed in the BIOS settings.
    2) Both the CD and T7600 share the same socket (M), but I believe it depends on the chipset you have
    3) You can download updated drivers and such from the manufacturer's website.

    Btw, you may want to know that a significant proportion of A100s have botched their BIOS updates. That is, a number of them will get stuck posting because they search for hardware that isn't a part of the system (specifically, a TPM chip). You can search for details on this issue on NBR's forum.

    My Chipset Is 945 Gm Which Supports T7600 .
    Do I Need To Upgrade My Bios Version ?
    Which Version Will Support T7600 ?

    I would recommend updating your BIOS to the latest version possible; unfortunately I can't tell you whether the 1.7 version supports socket M Meroms unless the manufacturer specifically says so in the release notes. What is your exact model?
