I have a problem with my Toshiba S105 laptop. My wife had it on and she picked it up by the top of the screen and it went completely black. I have tried putting light to the screen to see if I can make out anything, but nothing is seen. I pluggged it in to my LCD monitor and it doe work. but the LCD on the laptop is completely black. Any suggestions.

Why oh why would she do that?!?!?!?!? Does she have no respect for the laptop gods!!!!! Anyways, what likely happened is that when she lifted it, the cable inside the laptop that connects the output of the laptop to the LCD became loose or separated. So, you'd have to open it up and check or send it away for repair.
