    Bought her this laptop, I myself have a Dell Inspiron 6400 notebook but I found quite a good deal for this Toshiba laptop and I know that this is a pretty good brand. She's not playing games, just doing internet stuff and her college work. Any comments on this laptop from students ? I heard nothing but good things for this notebook so far.

    The Satellite series have a couple of build quality problems.Nothing serious if you don't mind the keyboard or take good care of the laptop (something that girls generally do much better than us).You can fill the FAQ too, ppl here m,ight manage some better choices.
