I just bought new M50 at Computer System Centre in Toronto
for 1699 Canadian dollars before tax, is that a good price?
Anyone has the same model wanna share some opinions?
The panel around the touch pad feels warm after running 30mins,
is this normal? coz I heard the cooling system of M50/M55 is very good. What temperature is reasonable?
The fan turned on once a while, is there a way you can control the fan except using the application Toshiba privided( cooling method).
I tried the everest and fanspeed, but onlythe HD is detected.
Thanks

Yup, the panel heat is normal. Its warm. I dont think its a gaming notebook though. I think you will get used to it. I use CHC. Centrino Hardware Control. That controls the speed of ur comp, and probably cool down the heat. The fan is normal too. Does any1 know how to control it?
Its a great machine tough. Light weight and has everything.
Hope this helped -
I have heat only on the right palmrest directly right of the touchpad. I'd better go and download CHC right now.
