I just bought a Toshiba Satellite T130/135. When I turn it on for the first day it starts in the "Toshiba Recovery Wizard" and warns me that all my data will be destroyed if I proceed.

Did I just buy a refurb by mistake?

A second question. When I proceeded with the recovery wizard it appeared to first installed Win7, and then install all of the extra software. Does anyone know a trick to get it to just do Win7 and skip the 2nd step?

Is there a FAQ somewhere that would tell me what the extra software is and if there is anything worth keeping?

    Thanks.

The extra software I think is all the Toshiba utilities and programs that are supposed to be preinstalled.
