WHen you buy from toshiba is it always recommended to buy this service for the laptop.
Toshiba 4-Year SystemGuard + 2nd/3rd/4th Year Extended Service Plan Save 10% Instantly [$359.10]
I am thinking of buying the sli1 but i might have enough money to buy sli3. Do you guys recommend to buy the extra with it. Thanks.
Since the SLI3 total comes out at $2,591.74 without the protection plan.
and SLI1 $2,051.56 without the protection plan. Why is cheaper with pcmall then from toshiba itself.

You might want to check out the warranty guide.

I bought 3 yr Service Express + 2nd/3rd year Extended Service Plan for my X205 for $169.15 last week (15% discount coupon against list price) from Toshiba.

I don't buy system guard plans because they are incrementally expensive and I figure I can be responsible enough to not drop kick my latptop :p But I definitely want services express for fast turn around on repairs and 3 years of warranty coverage for the expected useful life of the laptop.
