Just wondering if there is a dual band wifi card i can stick in this machine, I have just bought a netgear N750 Modem router and was hoping to be able to swap out the wifi card on this laptop to take advantage of the greater performance available.(2.4 & 5 Ghz)
    thanks

A number of 3rd party wifi cards may work [however, the compatibility is not guaranteed].
I have seen Toshiba has good compatibility with Intel manufactured cards. If there is an Intel model you like, it may work with your current setup.

Sorry for the vague response, but without documented proof of which wifi cards can be used with your machine [usually obtain from other members experimenting], we can only take a guess on which cards will work.

This particular Intel card looks promising:
    Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200

    Good luck
