    CD-DVD Drivers Corrupted or Missing!!!!

    I have a p205d and just went to load a CD and nothing happened went to device manager and got this error..

    Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

    I searched here and Google and can't find drivers to fix this.

    Anyone know where i can find them, or another way to fix it?

    Did you guys remove Google Picasa? For some reason it deletes the driver files when you remove it.

    I did removed Picasa 2, but I don't think thats what caused the drive to disappear. If it does, it still returns after using the Knowledge base article from MS, at the link above.

    My fix involved a regedit to fix it... something about the low filter and high filter if i remember correctly.
