I've got the A135-S4407 with 1GB memory and GMA950 video card and CS Source seems to be too choppy. I tried to reduce all the settings to minimum and I still get poor video. There's also no difference if I play it in Vista or Win XP.

I'm wondering if increasing the memory to 1.5GB would alleviate the problem. Increasing memory is always good but will there be any appreciable difference. I realize these laptops are not meant for gaming but I read that the GMA950 can use CS.

Has anyone tried using CS Source for the Toshiba A135 with GMA950? If so do you experience sluggish play? I was just wondering if you do play with it and no sluggishness what is your secret?

    TIA

I don't know about CSS with a GMA, but I do no that upgrading the RAM to 1.5GB is not going to help much...

The GMA 950 is simply not meant for gaming.

CS:S will not run well on the GMA 950 even on the lowest settings.

You can however run CS 1.6 well enough I believe.
