A very simple but important question!

    Is the Touch Pad backlit????
I bought a G35AV600 yesterday it's a floor model I got it for $1279.00 Circuit City, they did the restore thing on it and etc. to make sure that it's up to speed, now I saw it about a week ago and I thought the touch pad was backlighted. Got it home gave it the once over no backlite called toshiba and they said it should be. Take it back to CC there are checking it now and I get ti back in the AM. I leave CC got to Comp USA. and ahhh they have a 650 on the shelf, examine the pad and ......no light ???? so what's the answer!!
    Thanks D200Driver

ok... well there 2 things, yes the Keyboard on the Av600-Av660 are backlit but only when you have the shortcut keys activated, to actvate them simple tap twice on the top right hand side, and that will turn on the backlight for the different shortcuts Also note that your shortcut software on window must be installed as well
