    Can't get the sound to work

    my Notebook is:
    Toshiba A100-216 T5200 PSAA8E

    I reinstalled winxp and now I can't work out the sound!
    Can any1 help me, please?

    Did you let the installer fully run until it prompts you that it is done? If so and it still doesn't work, go into the device manager and see if there is any uninstalled hardware (they will be marked as unidentified with a yellow symbol I believe). Post here what (if any) hardware is listed in that manner.

    And there is no REALTEK at Audio section :(

    Go to the "Sound and Audio Devices Properties" via the Control Panel. What, if anything, is listed under the "Hardware" tab?

    Ok... First try installing the download from Toshiba again. Make sure to let it finish completely. Then see if anything new appears in the device manager or Audio Devices. If not, then you may want to boot into safe mode and uninstall the drivers then try again.

    I reinstalled about 1000 times before <i posted here, but <i will try it in safe mode too.
    BTW: When I install Audio, during the installation it doesn't say that it found new hardware (in installation notes says that it should)
