I have been doing a bit of research on my laptop and its ATI X1200 IGP and I have been trying to figure out if there is a way to edit the memory mapping to "dedicate" one memory module to just the video. On my PC i could change how each module was used for the system by changing settings in BIOS and changing the addressing in the Windows environment.

I have not been able to locate the same features on this laptop and was wondering if there is any other way to change the way the memory is mapped. Of course it would be easier to just be able to change the clock speed but that it pretty much out of the question without burning up the laptop.

This is not possible. Video memory is controlled by the driver, and there is/are no BIOS options.

Upping the amount of RAM used is not going to increase the power of your graphics card.
