I was wondering if its possible to upgrade my Toshiba a110 from the Celeron cpu, to Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83 GHz ( 667 MHz ). Will my cooler, etc, be able t handle this cpu. Next step would be to switch to 2gig ram, and 7200rpm hard drive.
    Thank you

buy a new computer by the time you upgrade all of that it will be cheaper plus you will get a warrenty with it.

also i do not believe that a celeron cpu can be switched with a core duo(i wish, i have a cem m too)

but i could be wrong about the cpu

Such an upgrade is not advisable. If you purchased it configured with a Celeron CPU and intend to replace it with a dual-core processor, I'm afraid it's not possible. The Celeron and Core Duo line use different type sockets, so your motherboard won't have support for dual-core.
