    The following info was posted by user "vudoo" in the fatwallet forums. He was able to do a clean install of WinXP Pro using a CD that had SP2 slipstreamed into it. I thought others here might find this info useful. Please post any other related tips/tricks to this thread.

    Without slipstreamming XP SP2 I got as far as loading the pci.sys then it would die. I was going to do the F6 thing with a floppy disk but didn't need it after I had a XP SP2 cd.

    Quick tips. After you finish creating the i386 folder and CMPNENTS folder using the SP2 update utility use ultraiso to delete the old ones on your winxp iso image and inserting the new ones. Saves alot of trial end error trying to get nero to burn a bootable XP cd.
