    greetings...
I'd love to thank y2khardtop for all the help he offered me to install windows XP on my machine Toshiba x205 SLI3.
It seems that most of the users here has common problems they are facing, which in my openion can be solved (and correct me if I'm wrong) by adding the best in the both worlds..i.e dual boot of XP and vista.
I know that there were many posts about clean vista install typically the one addressed "clean vista install with no activation", but it seems that things are different from manufacturer to others. So. I'm posting this questions to be useful for all the users of Toshiba X205 SLI3. Any help and mostly experience here is so highly appreciated:
1- What are the steps of doing a fresh clean install of windows Vista on that machine, where can I find the DVD that contains the vista OS program, since I already got the two recovery DVDs?
2- after finishing the vista install, can i use the recovery DVDs for drivers installation only?
3- Regarding the install of XP on SLI3 machine, someone refered in a thread that X200 219 (european model similar to X205 SLI3) has on its european support site drivers for XP, is this right? will it work on X205 SLI3?
Thanks for any help and support

I haven't tried this yet, but i'm thinking of borrowing a disc from another pc, then downloading the individual drivers directly from Toshiba. Hover since testing has shown that SP3 makes xp even faster, and sp1 doesn't help Vista at all.....bottom line for me, no reason to even want Vista!

I'll be watching this thread for some good advice
