Hello all,
I just purchased an M115-S3094.
I believe there are some controlling-rights wars happening within this notebook. Between Windows Zero Configuration, Intel Proset Wireless, and Toshiba's ConfigFree.
Which set of Wireless Controllers should I enable/disable?
The Toshiba ConfigFree Utility is nice looking compared to the other two, but which one is best / most reliable? And if I continue to use one over the other two, can I safely disable the other applications from Services and from starting up?
Thanks in advance!

ProSet Wireless can go - Windows will take over monitoring Wi-Fi. That's actually better, since Windows has one-click repair of the connection.
Can't speak for the Toshiba app, since I don't know anything about it. -
should i uninstall the Intel ProSET program as well as Toshiba's Configfree program?
there are also some other processes running that i'm not sure i need or want, instead of starting a new thread, hopefully someone can answer this here:
syntpenh.exe - is this needed for the touchpad to work? is it needed to use the scroll feature on the touchpad?
hkcmd.exe ?
igfxpers.exe - intel graphics program needed to function?
iFrmewrk.exe - Intel ProSET software??
ZCfgSvc.exe - this is the Toshiba ConfigFree, correct??
ndstray.exe ?
padexe.exe ?
TFncKy.exe ?
I've read in some other threads that the most useful toshiba apps are the Power Saver and Virtual Sound devices, so I have not listed those here.
Thanks in advance... -
ZCfgSvc.exe = Intel wireless program
TFncKy.exe = Hot key facility on toshiba laptops.
ConfigFree / IntelProset / Zero Config??
