Hi everyone, i own a Qosmio x305-Q701. It has an HDMI output port in the back which i just connected to my television for the first time today. The television is a Samsung 42" plasma. When i go into the NVIDIA options menu and select it to clone the display it shows my laptop's main LCD and a "Samsung PDP." So my computer is obviously detecting the Television but when i change the imput source on my television it doesnt detect any HDMI component, any idea what I am doing wrong?

I had lots of problems using multiple displays on my X205 and i finally got it to work using only one display at a time. You might try selecting a single output to hdmi instead of clone. Not sure if this will work for sure though as i think my problem was due to my sli gpus.
