    Hey guys,
My Satellite A100-662 has been bugging a lot lately. I'm starting to worry that it's a processor-related issue because it happens systematically while playing games.
    I have a Centrino Duo 1.6GHz, 1024RAM, ATI X1400 video card.

What happens is that while I play games, my screen flips out. It is covered almost completely by blue and yellow lines like the ones in the picture (that I put in the red box):

This usually lasts a few seconds then the computer crashes.

It is not a display driver problem: I have tried display drivers from Toshiba and from Omega.
I have the latest BIOS drivers.
I don't understand what this problem is: I re-installed windows 2 days ago and the problem continues.
It happens whenever I use a lot of RAM or CPU in games particularly. The laptop gets very hot. Today, my Notebook Hardware Control indicated a CPU temperature of 75°+ Celsius.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
My warranty is not up yet so I will probably take my PC to the store where I bought it, I just want to give them as much info as possible so that they make the right repairs.
    Thanks,

    Arthur

Do you have a temperature for your GPU while you're playing your games?
If it only happens when you're playing games, it could be related to your video card getting overheated.

    i believe your right
it hit 95° C when I tried and the computer started a shutdown procedure

I am taking the computer to a repair center.
Maybe the heatshield for the CPU is not working
