    Hi all:
I had this problem a few years ago with my Satellite and it was an easy fix somewhere in the control panel.
I replaced the HD with an SSD and rarely use the baby to type.
Can someone please tell me what I forgot to do.
    Thanks.

Try disabling the touchpad. You may have dirt between it and the bezel of it and it's generating pressure.

Thank you, but it is not the touchpad.

There is a setting that changes the speed, I just do not remember where to find it.
