    DC Power allways plugged in

    My notebook stands in my room and the DC power is allways plugged in even when i switch it off. Is this a problem ? or should i unplug it when i shut it down ?

    You can leave it in. The battery will automatically stop charging and wont overcharge. Other than a power surge killing the laptop there are no other issues with leaving the notebook plugged in.

    I have read that Li Ion batteries have longer shelf life when stored at about 40% charge in a cold location. So if you don't need your battery as a UPS, you might consider removing it and storing it in a refrigerator while you are plugged into DC power.

    Hmmm good point chumley...i move my laptop bout once in 2 weeks, so ahh, ill keep the DC plugged in with the battery.
