Hello, i think im going to buy the Toshiba f50-108 which is pretty much the toshiba F55 that still didnt come out, but with a 2.26 processor instead of a 2.53 :(

Will there really be a big difference in performance for games and such ?

So you're talking about a P8400 to a T9400 for $300. For that much money, all you're getting is 250MHz additional clock speed and an additional 3MB of cache; with the downside of increasing power consumption; the 2.53GHz CPU has a TDP of 35W vs 25W with the P8400.

My advice is, if you have the extra money, plan to play a lot of games, and don't care much about a little extra heat and shortened battery life, the T9400 is better. Otherwise, the P8400 is a much wiser choice from a cost perspective; it'll run almost as fast as the T9400 while consuming less power and producing less heat.
