    Hi,
in the attachments you can see my baby some pictures explaining my problem!

As you can see, the frame joint of the display is broken (as I've heard this happened frequently with this model) and the laptop is starting to act up (crashes when using the display, works still fine when using an external monitor).

I tried to disassemble it but I can't remove the frame near the joints and the release button.

Any help on how to remove the frame (and the rest) or where to find instructions is greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hm...

That's a pretty old model. You might want to check out the "How to Dissasemble Toshiba Notebooks" thread in this fourm.

Hehe, as you can see from my post in that other thread I did exactly this. And I tried my best googling techniques but didn't get any results. But luckily, since I posted at several forums  , some other nice fellow had a good link. Here it is: http://www.geocities.com/ge64/1115-S103/index.html

It's a start. Maybe you'll be able to take apart your laptop now. If you can't, I suggest contacting the person of the link and asking for more detailed photographs - they might help you out.
