    Hi,

So I just bought a Toshiba Satellite L745.

But when I start the computer, only the integrated graphic card is shown in device manager.

The discrete one (GT 540m) does not show. I cannot install drivers either because it says the graphic card could not be found. ANy idea how I can turn on this GT 540m?

    Thanks

    Does the computer use Optimus?
If so .. it's there is just doesn't use it unless you open something that needs more than integrated GPU power (like a game).

Even with Optimus, the NVIDIA card would still be listed in device manager. OP, what is the exact model number of your laptop, and where did you buy it?
