The display of my Satellite Pro A-100 was gone as only a dark shadow of screen is visible. I connected the laptop to an external monitor. When I install Ubuntu by completely removing Windows 7, the display returned. But when I installed Wine in linux environment, the display was gone during installation.

Do you have any idea, what is the conflict between the display and Windows? And how I can resolve it?
