So i got my computer back yesterday from the repair shop (after i fried it from a spill). It seems to be working ok but there are a couple of concerns. The one I am most worried about is the amazingly loud system beeps that start as soon as i get past the toshiba start-up screen. It beeps constantly really loud until i hit f8 to get to the start up options page. I originally thought it was because of a driver issue as i intalled new video drivers after getting it back from the repair shop. But after i restored to factory settings it still does the same thing. The weird thing is as soon as i hit f8 i can choose to start windows normally and it works perfectly after that.

The second concern i have is that the two buttons below the touch pad were not put back correctly they seem to not spring back up like normal, and the sound control wheel on the front was put back crooked. This makes me wonder if there is some issue with how everything was re-connected to the motherboard when the repair shop put in the new one. I also forgot to mention that the shop also replaced my GPU's. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated i am hoping i wont have to go all the way back to the repair shop to drop it off...

I've heard similar noises on other computers when a key has got stuck down. The system is complaining because the keyboard buffer is full to overflowing. In your case it it probably the buffer for the touchpad buttons. I suspect that if the buttons get fixed to move properly then the beeps will go away.
