    I got a toshiba X205 and X7800 = ?

today i tried to install it to the same i got a big pop and smoke from the internal power divider:cry: :
So i got another X205 should i attempt this again, Or should i keep rocking with what i got in there. What are the chances that the proc is bad no physical damage.

    appreciate the help

So you're trying to upgrade to a X7800 CPU in an X205? And already fried one in the process? Curious where ya got the X7800? I haven't seen any for sale that i could find.
