computer turn on if you tap the media button on the media controls?

When my computer is sleeping and not shutdown, it will turn on when I touch any keys, including media buttons.

Yeah it is really annoying. I loved the way my old XPS Gen2 went into sleep mode. You had to hit the on/off button to get it out and it really was a full sleep and not just suspend mode, as if you turned the PC off. This would cause almost none of the battery to be drained. I remember even in the 6th year of my ownership of that beast, if the battery had 100% charge and I put the PC into sleep mode by closing the lid I could come back two weeks later and the battery would still be at 99% or sometimes even 100%.
When I put my Toshiba to sleep, even opening the damned lid makes it turn back on if the AC adapter is plugged in. If it is just on battery then as soon as I start cleaning it, accidentally pressing any of the media buttons, Windows resumes. In addition, the battery drains pretty fast while the computer is asleep. I honestly wish that Toshiba would update this and fix this minor annoyance. -
when my 896 is turned off and I clean the glossy black case I have to avoid the media buttons because it will start up the computer. Probably one of the most annoying features on the computer.

I disabled the media buttons. I kept hitting mute far too many times.
Toshiba needs to come out with a BIOS that prevents the computer from booting up and allows us to pick which keys to disable (i still would like to use the volume and eco-utility buttons) -
My problem is that I love the media buttons and I never hit them by accident. So I don't want to disable them, only disable the computer "waking up" when they are accidentally hit while I am cleaning the lappy.

I can wake up my 885 with a click of the mouse or any of the media keys. When it's actually shut down, the only key that fires it up other than the power button is the key with the note in it.
I find myself hitting the caps lock button than the media keys.
Does anyone else's.......
