I'm looking for a laptop that can carry it's weight in performance and be good for media as well. This one seems pretty nice. Does anyone own one? What do you think?
Would an option like the HP d3v (whatever it's called, blue label laptop) or a dell xps studio 13" be a notebook for the price?

I would like to hear from someone that owns one of these too. I'm looking to replace my M55-S325.
After playing with one at Best Buy, they appear to be well featured notebooks for the current price. Light weight, longer battery life, lots of ram, big HD, backlit keyboard, 2 year warranty, etc.
I'm not sure what they were thinking by adding an FM radio that uses an external antenna. They could have added a couple more USB ports instead of that. Also, there are no access covers on the bottom for RAM, HD, wireless, etc. You would have to open the case to upgrade the HD or replace the RAM.
The E105 doesn't seem to show finger prints as bad as the other new Toshibas. I would prefer a less shiney finish, but it seems that's the "IN" thing for all new laptops these days, unless you get one of the low end models. -
we got two...i really like it a lot.
only thing i dont like is that the hard drive makes some clicking noises, but it seems to have gone away almost completely. my sisters is fine though.
the fan is placed under the laptop which makes a highhh pitched noise when it comes into contact with anything. i may return it just because of that
One thing i dunno what im gonna do about on mine is that the right front part of the case seems like its not glued together properly; i can push it in and hear it go flush. its pretty minor and i havent seen it on any others so its a non issue.
pretty quiet too, which was a big concern for me. -
Still loving this Toshiba. Although if I could change anything I would change the LCD backlight to LED, and make it have a multi touch touchpad.
I have been very pleased with it.
Does anyone here own the E105 from Bestbuy? Do you like it?
