    Does the A505-S6965 at BB have a backlit keyboard?

    Greetings - Has anyone checked out or seen the A505-S6965 at Best Buy? The price is great - but BB's page does not say anything about a backlit keyboard. The Toshiba spec's .pdf says it does - but I would just like to confirm the actual system. The .pdf also says it is a slot-loading CD/DVD but according to BB's pictures - its a tray-loader. Any info would be appreciated...

    well, I bought this 4 days ago and it still has not shipped until Tuesday. About the backlit, I think I read a comment where they said "I love the backlit on it" so i guess it does have. And the CD/DVD slot I am not sure.

    Anyways, It looks like a great laptop indeed, its worth it :D

    Great news - I thought it did but didn't want to get serious about it until I knew for sure. Thanks to all for the input; hereIgo - is the DVD a slot-loader?

    It must be a Slot Loader since that is what it says on the official Toshiba website :) I hope!

    Yes, the DVD is a slot loader. The only drawback of this PC might be the short battery life (2.5 hours) but since I'm plugged in most of the time this didn't matter to me. I bought it for the discrete graphics card, good amount of RAM and the firewire port I need for our camcorder. So far so good. I love this machine!

    hereIgo - Thanks for the good news - you're the bestest ... :) I guess I'm about to be $749 (+ shipping) poorer. Keep us posted about any issues or anything...
