I recently bought one, it comes in tomorrow. I personally greatly appreciate recovery disks as they have saved 2 previously failed laptops from dieing, and I was wondering if the Q7272 has one. TYIA. :D

No recovery discs. BUT, the first thing I would do is create them through "Toshiba Recovery Media Creator"; I'm pretty sure your laptop will suggest making the dics on your first boot and should bring up the program; takes 4 discs and about an hour.

Good luck and congrats on your purchase! :D
One of the best features are the Harman/Kardon speakers :D

Looking forward to the speakers, never used H/K though..

As for MAKING recovery discs, I'll probably be too impatient when I get it to do that. I'd wait a week or so. I'm currently running a GMA4500M w/ 2.2GHz single core Celeron. So, this is a big step up for me. :D

It's a nice laptop, hope you enjoy it. The H/K speakers are indeed nice, they aren't the best i've heard but still great.
