    Does toshiba direct do special deals via phone?

    I was wondering if the phone sales reps at toshiba direct can offer any discounts / incentives beyond what's available on the web site. For example if you buy an extended warranty they'll throw in an upgrade or two for free, or if they can knock more money off the price to make a sale.

    Ask if they have any deals for Visa/Mastercard/AMEX holders (assuming that you are going to pay for it with one of these cards)

    I just bought a Satellite L500D, I found them to "cut deals" if you asked.
    Actually, I would ask about an accessory, and she would tell me what they would let it go for...
    I also am a student, they dont have student discounts per se, but she was cutting deals on batteries, and warranties.....I'd go for it. Even mention you go to school....
