i just bought an m50-mx5 Toshiba laptop, and i really like the wireless application and the power managment application that comes with the windows xp home setup, but i have my own windows xp pro copy that i would like to put on it. is there a way for me to get the wireless and power management software off the net? somehow off the recovery cd? im not really sure, i would just like my laptop to have windows xp pro with the nice toshiba applications.
Thanks.

Did you buy it in the U.S.? Here is a website that has all the models in the U.S. and the Toshiba applications for the model.

Otherwise, you should be able to stick in your recovery cd after you upgrade Windows and it should pop up the software for you to install. But on my old Satellite, once I upgraded it, for some reason it didn't work, it said WRONG MACHINE, and wouldn't let me upgrade the software.
