I got a X205-S9349 not to long ago, got most of the useless things off, updated the video card driver from laptop2go and everything was running fine...

well now for some reason my SD Memory slot and any USB Memory stick I try to use won't work, asking me to if I would like to search for the drivers then not finding any... but any other usb device seems to work, except a psp...

I've already tried reinstalling the stuff from the Toshiba website but nothing is working... and I really want to avoid restoring it to factory condition if possible..
I believe the gpu driver I got was 169.09, is this what could be causing it or could it be something else, or could it be a problem with the motherboard?
please if anyone knows how to fix it, it would be much appreciated

also something I haven't found an answer to.. I know that the 8700 in my laptop has 256mb dedicated, and is supposed to share 256mb of ram as well, but it shows up for me as having 256 dedicated and 752 shared.. can it really use that much or is it just messing up?

No, your card is performing normally. Try updating the drivers for your devices via the Internet. It sounds like somehow your drivers were removed/corrupted or something similar.

I just did a restore, everything is working fine now... and once I get all this crud off a 2nd time I'll reinstall the 169.09 drivers and let you know if it was them or not.. I don't think it was them tho

sorry for the late reply, it wasn't the gpu drivers...
it seems that some how a couple drivers were just corrupted at some point in time and vista nor I could figure out which ones they were

I didn't notice the 169.28 drivers, have to go check them out
