If someone can direct me to the correct SATA disk drivers for an XP install on a SLI1 I would be most grateful. Thanks in advance.

    http://www.davidfarmerstuff.com/XP-Laptop-Drivers/drivers.zip

this LARGE file has all of the drivers I used for my Sli3. The SATA drivers are marked "floppy", as I thought I was going to have to buy a floppy to make it work. However, I slipstreamed the SATA,chipset, lan, wireless, KB888111 drivers into my XP pro CD. Then I installed everything else afterword.

If you don't install the KB888111, your sound card and modem won't be recognized (at least on my Sli3). Also, if you plan on installing SP3, make sure you run KB888111 first, as it only works with SP2.

The drivers that y2khardtop has work great, just did the switchover to XP lastnight. Things running very quick compared to Vista!!

I couldnt figure out the slipstreaming, but somehow I managed to get xp installed through 3 different nlite disks I made.

Lol very weird, but I had a half working XP shell setup, then it finished installing with my Media Center install disk...??? So good luck, but should be easier if you know what you are doing!

You guys are awesome. With the drivers you provided I was able to slipstream the SATA drivers into a WinXP install disc and get XP working almost perfectly. However, when my monitor goes off (due to closing the lid for example) it won't come back on and I need to restart. Have any of you had the same problem? I have it set so that it doesn't go into standby when I close the lid so that's not the issue.

    Thanks again for the drivers!

I have been contemplating switching back to XP for a while now but i have little experience with all of these driver issues and also am new to working with boot disks so i have a few questions about how easy it will be to go back to XP. I read somewhere in another post that most vista drivers work in XP so i am wondering if it is possible to just just use the toshiba recovery disk to load the rest of my drivers??? I realize that i will need some drivers (SATA etc..) slipstreamed into the XP install disc but im not sure which ones i will need. Sorry i guess its kind of the same question as lostuser.... except i am installing XP 32.... If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated!

Will these drivers, apart from the video card, work for my X205-S9349? I'm starting to have problems with Vista and need to reload, so I figured I would try running XP on it.

not sure what to tell ya.... I guess all i'd try is uninstalling the current drivers, using a driver cleaner program for realtek drivers, and then install the latest from Realtek, and if it still does it then it would almost have to be a conflict with something else running or installed... I have used the Toshiba drivers and several from Realtek, both under Vista and XP with several reinstalls of each and formats, and haven't had that error even once...

I did do a quick search on Google for "EAccessViolation", and there's a ton of stuff that pops up, so looks like a fairly common XP issue, maybe related to something completely different?

Just wondering if anyone might want to try this program out on their XP setup.... if it works well it would be really nice if someone would be willing to host their drivers for XP so us newbs could have an easy way to get them all... heres a link for the program http://www.majorgeeks.com/Driver_Collector_d3982.html

Hey guys I'm new to the Site but I do have this very same laptop a Toshiba X205-SLi1. I attempted to slipstream the drivers provided by you guys and they worked during the primary install of XP. But it was after it was done and the laptop restarted i did get the Windows XP logo loading screen. But then the screen would freeze I would get a glimpse of a Blue Screen error and the system would reboot over and over again. The only way I managed to get to my desktop is to boot through safe mode. So the didn't work 100% so I had to do the Vista Home Premium recovery CD.

So i'm currently stuck with the same OS it was bundled with from the factory. Would any one please upload the ISO nLite image you guys created to slipstream and that worked on your laptop 100%. I have my own CD-Key for Windows XP Professional Student Release SP3 if that helps. But I guess what I did didn't work at all. It would be a big help. I just hate vista and it won't even correctly run even with a 3GB RAM upgrade.

I can't upload my iso of the nlited XP, but there are several good guides on here about nLite and whatnot.... make sure you get the hotfixes that enable the high def sound, and might even wanna slipstream in some of the other drivers into the install to save you some time later... otherwise, keep the nlited options fairly normal and don't start disableing much, basicly just a full XP install with the addition of the drivers and any updates you want, and you should be good to go.

If it found your hard drives at all during the install, then you did get that part working fine, so sounds like something in the XP install went foul.... good luck! XP on these machines does work very nicely.

Has anyone found Graphics Drivers for Windows XP? I have a X205-SLI2. Every attempt to install drivers from various sites has failed. I even downloaded the XP drivers from the Toshiba European site. They wouldn't even install.

I would like to have the full functionality of the SLI config.

    Thanks!
