    Hey guys,

I have Toshiba A205-S4617. I have Vista Ultimate loaded. I want to install Linux, to be specific Ubuntu. So I wanted to know if anyone one else has installed linux on the 201 series? Will all the device drivers be loaded or do i need to download it from some other site? Also will the wireless device work?

    Thanx Guys

Haven't installed on that system but I have installed it on 2 other systems, both have worked almost 100% with only minor annoyances.

Most drivers should be loaded, if they aren't you will need to download them (if they exist) and install/add them into your kernel (google around for this).

Intel and atheros wireless usually works out of the box, if it's broadcom you'll likely have some problems. Either way, make sure enable restricted drivers to make sure you get the most drivers available.
