Hi. I've bought a Toshiba L650D-12P, which, for some reason, is incapable of installing any kind of Linux distribution. I've been told that the problem is the buggy DSDT tables in the H2O BIOS. The problem is, that I don't quite possess the skills required to edit the tables myself. There is no help from Toshiba, either.

Are there anyone here willing to help me, to make my laptop work with Linux? I don't know how difficult it is, but I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance.

You will have to make a SLIC mod. Just do it like its written there.

Thanks alxlbf2. I've read though, that the problem with installing Linux is caused by buggy DSDT tables. Will a SLIC mod fix that problem?
