I have a p205d and on the bottom there is an compartment next to the battery.

I have searched and can't find out what it is for.

Likely a hard drive compartment (mine also has an empty spot), but make sure there is a connector before trying to put a hard drive in there, mine just has an empty place with no connector = wasted space.

Wasted space? OR PLACE TO STASH YOUR DRUGS?
Nah just kidding, I love finding wasted space on laptops though, then hacking in my own stuff (B/T, wireless, usb hubs, etc)

If it wasn't for a hd I was thinking of modding it and wiring a usb connected hd.
