i have new notebook, toshiba sattelite a200 - p532,with default OS vista home premium, when i want to make multi os, (i want to add xp) it cant be happen, it stoped when first time you want to install xp
(press enter to instal fresh xp, r for repair and f3 to quit => in blue screen, remember?),
when i want to press enter, it give me some stress reply, it say that my hardisk not installed yet / please power mode on.
when i want to installed linux, nothing like that happen, it finished well!
WTFwith my notebook?

1stly, it's not your laptop's fault, it's XP's.
2ndly, recent Linux distros should automatically recognize SATA drives, therefore no problems. (See #3)
3rdly, I think that what's happening is your hard drive isn't being recognized, likely due to it being a SATA drive. What you need to do is go to your motherboard manufacturer's website (use CPUZ and look under mainboard if you're unsure about manufacturer and/or model) and download the driver(s) which correspond to it. Then use nLite to create and slipstream those drivers into a new installation disc. Check out their site or just google around if you need help with the procedure of making a disc. -
