    Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a r940, but there is hardly any information about it anywhere! Does anyone own one? The r840 is pretty similar too, from my understanding. I would love to hear any user experiences with that model as well. Thanks!

Here's a thread on the r840 laptop. In the US [not sure where you are located] it goes by the branding of Tecra, which is a business class laptop.

But yes, the r840 and r940 should be very similar, with the main difference being a different CPU.

If your looking at a r940 and buying from Toshiba, there should be a screen upgrade to 1600x900 resolution for around $50. That would probably be my only thing I would recommend getting.

    Good luck
