    Hi guys,
    I have a Toshiba A135-S4527, I've had it for about 3 years now and the battery is not cutting it anymore. I can even go 10 minutes before it dies so I also leave it plugged in all the time. So I figured it's time for an upgrade for the battery. So upon some research I find out the OEM battery is a 4-Cell and puts out 2000mAh. They have other batteries that are 12-Cell at 8800mAh. What is the best kind of battery in terms of lasting the longest between charges? What would you guys recommend?

    Obviously 12-Cell at 8800mAh will last longer. Meaning you can work with your notebook longer with just the battery. I recommend it if your notebook supported it.

    Well I found a Gaisar GST3466 8800mAh 12-Cell Li-Ion for my laptop, that's the highest mAh or cell I could find. Is 80 dollars a good price for a battery like this? How much longer am I looking at compared to my OEM 4-cell 2000mAh?

    Based on your notebook specification, maybe around 7 - 10 hours.

    that'd be sweet. i'll have to post my findings once I decide on which one to buy. Is there anything else I can do to my laptop other than increase the RAM, I already maxed out the RAM and sometimes it just needs to be a little faster, and when I play HD video the video is all choppy. What would cause that? CPU?

    I believe the graphic card (GMA950) can't play HD video smoothly. You can't do anything about it since it is integrated. I don't know whether it worth it or not but I think you can upgrade the CPU to Intel Core 2 Duo T5000 series. Maybe T5600.

    Yes, compare supported socket. Intel® Pentium® Processor T2080 (1M Cache, 1.73 GHz, 533 MHz FSB) support socket PPGA478. Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5600 (2M Cache, 1.83 GHz, 667 MHz FSB) support socket PBGA479, PPGA478. On notebooks, supported socket alone doesn't means it will support all processor with the same socket. It depend on the chipset. For example T5600 support these configuration:-
    * Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset (2 Configurations)
    o
    Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset with 82801GBM I/O Controller Hub (ICH7M)
    o
    Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset with 82801GHM I/O Controller Hub 7 (ICH7MDH)

    * Mobile Intel® 945GME Express Chipset (2 Configurations)
    o
    Mobile Intel® 945GME Express Chipset with 82801GBM I/O Controller Hub (ICH7M)
    o
    Mobile Intel® 945GME Express Chipset with 82801GHM I/O Controller Hub 7 (ICH7MDH)

    * Mobile Intel® 945PM Express Chipset (2 Configurations)
    o
    Mobile Intel® 945PM Express Chipset with 82801GBM I/O Controller Hub (ICH7M)
    o
    Mobile Intel® 945PM Express Chipset with 82801GHM I/O Controller Hub 7 (ICH7MDH)

    Check on your notebook whether it have any configuration listed above. The best way is try look for anyone with same notebook who have upgraded the CPU.
