I have my daughter's old Satellite L305-s5921 with a cracked screen that is still slightly viewable. It is hooked up to an external monitor and I wanted to do a factory reload to get rid of the accumulated junk on there. My question is would it still output to the external monitor during the recovery process?
My concern is if it doesn't, I might need to click on a part of the lcd screen for something during recovery and not be able to do it if it is in one of the unviewable areas .It has Vista operating system with 2 MB memory and I beleive T3400 processor.
Thanks

Restored to factory load out of the box condition last night. The external monitor was visible 98% of the time except for a few brief periods toward the end when Windows was configuring. Just in case anybody needs this info.
