    Hi,

I'm about to purchase an M-45, but there's something that's bugging me about the Toshibas. The lettering of the list of programs, as well as in many ms programs, is fuzzy and faded. I checked the other Toshibas in the store, and they're all like that. Has anyone noticed this, and can it be changed? The salesperson said that's just the way Toshibas are. I don't think she really knows the answer.

    Thanks

They probably have slear type turned on. You might go back to double check...you can customize this with a power tool or shut it off entirely.

    Thanks Brian,
It's only at Circuit City, the Best Buy Toshiba's are crisp and clear.

It must of had to do with all the people looking at them messing around with the font settings; and who knows what else. I'm glad the one's at Best Buy are better--I never really liked Circuit City anyways.

If the fonts have not been modified or if clear type fonts aren't being used, it's possible the resolution has been lower below the native resolution. Just jump the resolution back to the max res it supports and it should be sharp again.
