I'm currently working on a Tosiba M5 running XP, the problem is that the CPU Fan is constantly running, starting from the moment the power is turn on. I've already done the usuall maintenance. I've taken the laptop apart and cleaned it out, the laptop was already farily dust free. Now there isn't a spec in it. There was a spare M5 for parts, so I replaced the Fans, still no help. I've also updated to the latest bios version for the laptop. HWmonitor and Speedfan both give me normal Temps for the machine. When running them at the same time they give me the exact same temps, so I know the machine is not running hot. Even if the machine was running warm, the fans kick in even before the sceen turns on, so I know its not a temperture issue.

Any other issues with this laptop?
